How do I set up my parent portal and complete the annual student updates?
- Check Your Email: Look out for an email from Infinite Campus that was sent to your inboxin early August. If you have not received an email, please contact your student’s school so the Data Manager can verify that your email address is correct.
- Follow the Email Instructions:
- Click on the provided link
- Click on the New User? (located at the bottom of the log in area)
- Enter the Activation Key that was provided in the email
- Create your username and password
- Record your username and password for future use
The next screen will ask you to enter your email address twice (2) and the password that you selected. For security purposes, you will have to verify the email address by checking your email account. If you have multiple students in the district, you may receive this message more than once. However, you only need to complete this verification process once.
Complete Annual Updates: Once your parent portal account is created, please take a few moments to complete the required annual updates for your student(s). If you have multiple students in Dare County Schools, Infinite Campus conveniently stores each student's profile under one parent account.
Note: Please create your account and update your information as soon as possible, as time-sensitive information about the start of the school year will be communicated through your Portal Account.
The completion of the Technology Questions on the Annual Updates are necessary before your student will have access to a chromebook, ipad, or account. If you have any questions or need assistance, please do not hesitate to contact your school's data manager.

How do I log in to the Infinite Campus App
The Campus Student and Campus Parent apps provide the same tools as the browser version, with the benefit of the option to Stay Logged In and receive push notifications.
- Download the app from the App Store or Google Play
- Search for your District Name and State, entering at least 3 characters of your district's name to search. Select your district from the list.
- Enter your Username and Password
- If using a secure, private device, mark Stay Logged In to receive mobile push notifications, if enabled by your school.
- Click Log In!
The activation link I received isn't working. What do I do?
Please reach out to your school's data manager to reset your link. For security purposes, thelink provided in the activationemail from Infinite Campus was a one-time only link.
How do I change the preferred language in the Parent Portal?
Step 1: Log into the Parent Portal. Select User Menu (in the top right corner)

What if I am missing students and/or have students I do not know in my parent account?
I am missing student(s)
Please contact your school's data manager for assistance adding students to your account. Infinite Campus creates accounts based on physical address. If your address was entered differently for both of your students (example: 11th Street / Eleventh Street), a separateaccount was created. Your school data manager can merge your accounts.
I have students under my account that are not my child
Please contact your school's data manager. If multiple families share an address (ex. apartment complex/multi-home dwelling) you may see another student in your account. Your school data manager can remove these students from your account. No confidential information has been added to Infinite Campus at this time, so your student's data is safe.
Are translators available to assist Spanish speaking families?
Yes. Please contact your student's schoolto request an appointment with an interpreter. Please note that the account set up and annual updates typically take an hour for parents to complete. Please keep this in mind when scheduling your appointment.
Is in-person support available?
Yes. Please contact your student's school to schedule an appointment.

Dare County Schools is actively working on a Newcomers Center at the Dare County Schools Administrative Building. This center will have designated interpreters and support staff on-site to assist families with enrollment. The center will be open on Tuesdays in the fall. Stay tuned for more information.
Can I pay my student(s) technology fees through the parent portal?
Yes! One of the perks of Infinite Campus is the online payment center. Follow these steps to pay your student's technology fee and other school related fees online inCampus Parent.
Step 1: Create a parent account
Step 2: Complete your annual online student updates, including technology questions
Step 3: In your account, click on the Fees page
Step 4: Complete the transaction.
If you have multiple students that attend Dare County Schools, you are able to pay all of your students' fees through one convenienttransaction.
I do not have access to a phone or computer. How do I create an account?
Devices will be available at your child's school for you to use.Please contact your student's school to schedule an appointment. Devices will also be available at Open House events for families.
The Campus Parent account can be accessed by a web browser if you do not have mobile device.
I am a parent and Dare County Schools employee. Can I merge my staff and parent accounts?
Yes! Please reach out to your school's data manager for assistance merging your staff and parent accounts. This will allowstaff members to access all accounts in one place.
